Is it necessary to sign up with a group such as Online Data Entry Institute, or Global Cash Flow Network, just companies that show you the ropes on how to become an affiliate. The way the advertising is written for these companys actually make it sound as if you will receive info online and fill in a form and submit it in order to get paid. Actually its not like that and it can be very costly to join the company to learn marketing affiliating. I have tried several times to do this type of at home work but it becomes frustrating and I have to spend quite some time chatting online or calling in for help. I understand that you can make quite a bit of cash with marketing but when you dont have the cash to put into it to start and then have to put more cash into it for additional learning materials and so forth even into advertising or mailing lists, you end up more broke before you make money. Is all this necessary, is there something less stressful on the pocket and brain. Maybe affiliate marketing is not what I need. I am looking for something online to make money through without the heavy cash give out and headache to learn. I just know the basic stuff of computer usage not what I am reading and I feel really lost.

4. Write informative Articles- Their are many great Article websites out their such as Ezinearticles, Searchwarp, Ideamarketers, and many more and it is free to post an article. The idea here is to write a review or an informative article on whatever your promoting. For example Ezinearticles requires a minimum of 250 words an article which is very easy to do! Some of them don’t even have a minimum word count. But the more popular ones do! Write something short, sweet, and to the point using the same principles as stated above, get your article to the top pages of the Search Engines! These articles will let you put your affiliate link in your Bio box at the end of the article. Ezinearticles is an exception to this rule you have to link to a classified you made previously a blog, or Squidoo lens. They don’t allow Affiliate links but the traffic is well worth it. And my favorite part is there is no waiting to get your hubs approved, as long as there unique and written by you!

5. This is a cheap secret to get you off the ground and running! Have you ever heard of Bum Marketing? I first stumbled upon Bum Marketing a little while back, and let me tell you I am certainly glad I did! It teaches you how to grab first page listings on Google, Msn, and Yahoo. Basically all of the big search engines, but primarily Google. This system is taught by Travis Sago and really works great! I have a paid membership to U.S free ads which is only .99 month to post unlimited classifieds. You can add HTML, Affiliate links, Website links, your ads basically look like mini websites their pretty sharp! And what you do with the bum marketing system is research keywords that have to do with whatever your promoting.

I use Google Adwords for this. Use a Highly Searched keyword phrase, with little competition. When I say little competition I mean phrases that have 50,000 listings or less! Use that phrase in your title on your u.s free ads premium membership and you are almost guaranteed a first page listing for that phrase on Google each and every time. If your an affiliate you can probably smell the potential. I make quite a few sales doing this, so I figured I would share it with my viewers. Question by Payne: Is it possible to get a mailing list of unsigned musicians?
I have just built a music website and it has regular users visiting, but I am not satisfied with the number and level of users.

The target users should be the unsigned musicians,so I am wondering how could I get them comming? I have tried using music forum and myspace but it didnt work that well, so I am thinking if I need start to promote by sending emails. Now I am confused where and how could I get a list of their email addresses? (I don’t mind if I need to pay for getting it)

Any good suggestions?

okay, here are some suggestions.
First: forget this idea about getting your hands on a mailing list. That’s like, very 1998. Even if it’s a so-called “opt-in” network, basically what you would be doing is spamming, and there is no need to do that. People are getting very good at blocking, ignoring, and deleting spam.
There are several ways to get more visitors to your site. Here they are:
1) links from relevant sites. e.g., directories, music sites, and so forth. just email the owners of all sites you can find, and ask for a link. search for “music site directory” to find directories of music sites, and apply to them. build links, links, links.
drop in on webmasterworld.com and check out what webmasters are talking about re link-building. They’ve even got a whole forum on it.
Never, ever stop building quality links to your website.
Never, ever buy a program that does this automatically, or submits your site to directories automatically.
links have two values:
1) people click on them
2) search engines use them to rank your site in results pages.

here’s the second way of getting traffic: buy it.
Yahoo and google both run “contextual advertising”, which means that you can buy ads.
When someone does a search, for example “unsigned musician websites”, your ad will appear next to (or above) the search results.
You are charged per click.

third way: offline marketing, ie marketing in the real world. Are there specialty publications that your target audience reads? get an ad, or an article in there.
